Baked, not fried, in a donut pan — a scoop of cookies-and-cream protein gives these a malty sweetness without needing much added sugar.

Ingredients
- •1 cup oat flour
- •1 scoop (about 30g) cookies and cream protein powder
- •1 tsp baking powder
- •2 eggs
- •1/3 cup milk of choice
- •2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- •1 tbsp melted butter or oil
Instructions
- 1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 6-cavity donut pan.
- 2.Whisk the oat flour, protein powder, and baking powder together in a bowl.
- 3.In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, honey, and melted butter together.
- 4.Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
- 5.Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan cavities, filling each about 2/3 full.
- 6.Bake for 10-12 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- 7.Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before turning out onto a rack.
Tip
Fill the cavities only 2/3 full — donut batter rises to fill the ring shape, and overfilled cavities bake into a solid disc instead of a donut with a hole.
