Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 scoop (about 30g) protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/3 cup milk of choice
  • 1 egg white
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. 1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small oven-safe ramekin or baking dish.
  2. 2.In a bowl, mix the oats, protein powder, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. 3.Add the mashed banana, milk, and egg white, and stir until fully combined into a thick batter.
  4. 4.Pour into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
  5. 5.Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. 6.Let cool for 5 minutes before eating — it firms up as it cools.

Tip

This is a good way to use up a protein powder flavor you're not thrilled about drinking — baking mutes strong or artificial-tasting flavors more than blending does.
